Make a screen easier to use
Comfortable settings are personal.
Start with text size
Increase text size before assuming that a display is too small. Adjust application zoom and the operating system scaling settings separately. Check a familiar page after each change, and choose the setting that remains comfortable during a normal work session.
Use built-in assistance
Modern systems offer captions, screen readers, voice input and keyboard navigation. Explore one feature at a time. Keyboard shortcuts can reduce repeated pointer movement, while captions can make a video useful in a quiet or noisy environment.
Pay attention to contrast and motion
A theme that looks attractive for a moment may be tiring during long use. Try reduced motion and a simple color scheme. Keep room lighting comfortable and take breaks. Accessibility settings are everyday tools, not a last resort.
